Ther is a huge range of different thrillers they can come in books/novels, Television and films. These all however have to include the same key components some of these are Tension, Suspense, excitement and mystery to grab the watcher and get them hooked.
There are many different Genres of thrillers. Genre is the title that is inclusive of different forms of media that has a narrative that is fueled by tension, suspense, mystery and excitement.

The storry line can often revolve around props or objects from the Middle East.

This originates from Greek mythology.
The hero often finds themselves in a predicament.
In this the hero will be frace with mazes and labrynths to get to the villan.
The audience will be presented with the same puzles and problems as the hero.

1, propability factor: a easy victory is a lot less gripping than a battle aginst the odds.
2, moral factor: When the hero is morally right it grabbes the audience and maintains focus.
